MyFood Review – Main Takeaways

MyFood provides nutritional data on 300+ foods.  You can search by name, category or vitamin/mineral content.  You can also limit the views of foods depending upon your diet – everything, vegetarian or vegan.

Kindle MyFood Active Content – Selector/Search

The information provided in the app is very good and the ability to select different sizes/amounts for each food is well done.  It is very easy to use and the search feature is well done.

Kindle MyFood Active Content – Nutrition Facts

Just don’t expect this to be a complete food guide.  This is an excellent app if you are “eating clean” and not using any processed food whatsoever. You won’t find things like whole wheat bread, cereal, chili, or canned tuna in this app.

MyFood Review – Conclusion and Overall Rating

I would give my MyFood game review 4 stars. For the cost, I would think they should have expanded this to include some processed foods. I would have paid up to $4.99 to have a full food guide on my Kindle. I would have paid up to $10 to have the ability to look up and track my food on the Kindle. With that being said – if you eat a lot of whole foods, then this is a good app to pick up.
