Jungle King Review – Review Introduction
This is a review of Jungle King – a strategy game for Kindle by Jovian Minds. It is available for $0.99 in the Amazon store (normally $1.99) and was released in February, 2012. Rated 5 stars on 2 customer reviews.
Available on the following Kindle versions as of 2/28/2012: Kindle Touch, Kindle, Kindle Keyboard, Kindle DX, Kindle 2nd Generation.
Jungle King Review – Main Takeaways
Jungle King is based on a Chinese board game called Dou Shou Qi. It is a strategy game where your goal is to move your eight animals through the jungle while avoiding being eaten. The game is won when one of the players captures the opposing player’s den.
There is a single player mode and a two player mode. Three levels are available in the single player mode, so it is good for all levels.
It definitely helps to read the directions so you know that the rat can take on the elephant and the rat can go in the water, etc.
Jungle King Review – Conclusion and Overall Rating
I would give my Jungle King review 4.5 stars. It took a while to understand the strategy, but is fun and challenging. The price is good and it is nice to have a different type of game available on the Kindle.
