First, there are a list of hints. After that there are walkthroughs for all 40 levels. Please Note: Videos take a few seconds to load.

FlipIt Hints

1. Level 1 –  Top Corner. 1 Flip is Enough.
2. Level 2 – Everything centers around this 1 Flip.
3. Level 3 – 4 corners of the Globe.
4. Level 4 – Stay away from the edge of the water.
5. Level 5 – This is pretty tough. There’s an image below on how to solve it – Click on the image for a clearer one with 6 steps.
6. Level 6 – 3 Corners and then it’s simple.
7. Level 7 – The 3rd row and the 3rd column.
8. Level 8 – 1, 2, 3, 4 like the hours on a clock.
9. Level 9 – It’s the same as 8, with less flips.
10. Level 10 – The middle row holds the key.
11. Level 11 – The 4 corners of the globe and then a twist.
12. Level 12 – Ignore the edges at first. Then pick the corners. The center vertical column is not to be touched.
13. Level 13 – Left to right and stay away from the edges.
14. Level 14 – Get the ones in the top of the center row first. After that look for the prisoners.
15. Level 15 – Center and then 2 of the 4 corners.
16. Level 16 – Left to right and look for 3 flips.
17. Level 17 – 2nd and 4th at the top. Then work your way down. Take a look at the solution if you need – this is a tough one.
18. Level 18 – Easy as 1, 2, 3 – if you prefer you can go with 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. Avoid the edges.
19. Level 19 – Corners of the inner square. Then 4 clicks to circle white.
20. Level 20 – 4 Corners and then two clicks as mirror images.
21. Level 21 – 4 Corners and then move left to right. End with a vertical row. Note: Once you move left to right there’s more than one way to proceed.
22. Level 22 – Make it Black First. Then Corners.
23. Level 23 – 2nd, then 1st, then 3rd, then 4th. All in a row.
24. Level 24 – First 2 flips in the center row, then 2 flips at the corners.
25. Level 25 – From left to right. It’s hard to miss.
26. Level 26 – Left to right, always looking for the black square surrounded by 3 or 4 others.
27. Level 27 – Go down to Up. One of the hardest levels.
28. Level 28 – Left to right, and up to down. Get the left most 2 columns first.
29. Level 29 – It’s 3 flips and none are in the corners.
30. Level 30 – Left to Right. It’s just 5 flips.
31. Level 31 – Go left to right. Get some balance.
32. Level 32 – 4 corners is a start.
33. Level 33 – From up to down, and then down to up.
34. Level 34 – To be added.
35. Level 35 – To be Added.
36. Level 36 – Left to Right, Up and down, almost every square.
37. Level 37 – The 4 corners. Then the 4 white squares surrounded by black. Then the 4 black squares.
38. Level 38 – Please see video walkthrough. Right to Left.
39. Level 39 – Please see video walkthrough. Left to Right.
40. Level 40 – Video Walkthrough is below. This is not a difficult level so please try to finish it yourself.

Are you stuck at a particular level?

The joy is in figuring it out yourself. However, if you are REALLY REALLY STUCK then this might help -

Please Note: If you’re not at the start of a level, you will have to press Menu and choose ‘Reset Level’ before following these hints to complete the level.

1) Level 1 -

Go to the square on the top left (the black one). Press 5-way.

2) Level 2 -

Go to the Square in the middle. The one in the exact middle that is black and has black squares to the left, right, above, and below. Press 5-way.

3) Level 3  -

You have to press the 4 black squares at the very edge. So the left-most square in the top row, the left-most square in the bottom row, the right-most square in the top row, and the rightmost square in the bottom row.

4) Level 4 -

You have to press the 4 black squares in the center. So ignore all the squares in the outer rows. That leaves a 2 by 2 grid of 4 squares – the inner squares. Just press each of these once and you have your solution.

5) Level 5 -

Note: This is one of the toughest levels so it’s alright if you struggled with this.

Image Solution:

First, press the left-most square in the top row.

Next, press the left-most square in the bottom row.

After that, Press the square that is the third square in the 2nd row (It has 2 squares to its left, 1 square above it, 1 black square to its right, and 2 black squares below it).

Next, press the square to the right of it. This will be white and be the 4th square in the 2nd row.

After that, go down one to the 4th square in the 3rd row, and press that.

Now you’re left with 5 black squares – If you press the one in the middle i.e. the 3rd square in the 3rd row you finish the level.

6) Level 6  -

Image Solution:

Like you did for the last level, press the left-most square in the top row, and the left-most square in the bottom row.

Now, go to the 3rd square in the 2nd row which has black squares above, below, to the left, and to the right. It’s also black itself. Press on this.

Finally, go to the right-most square in the bottom row, and press this.

7) Level 7 -

Level 7 can be solved by pressing -

The first square in the third row. The 4th/last square in the 3rd row.

The 1st square in the third column. the 4th/last square in the 3rd column.

8) Level 8 -

Image Solution: Note that this level starts with all black squares.

You simply press the squares one by one in anti-clockwise order.

9) Level 9 -

First, press the second square in the top row.

Next, press the second square in the bottom row.

10) Level 10 -

First, press the middle square (2nd square) in the top row.

Next, press the 2nd square in the bottom row.

11) Level 11  -

First, press the black square in the centre.

Next, press the 4 squares at the corners.

Note: This is another very tough level. In fact, quite a few of the levels in the teens are tough ones.

12) Level 12 – This is one I get stuck on even now. It ends up being strange. You have to avoid the black squares at first.

1st – 2nd square on the 2nd row.

2nd – 2nd square on the 3rd row.

3rd – 4th square on the 2nd row.

4th – 4th square on the 3rd row.

At that point all you have to do is get the 4 squares at the edges. So that’s the left-most and right-most squares on the top row, and the left-most and right-most squares on the bottom row.

13) Level 13 - Every square that’s not on the edge once – starting from left to right.

So -

1st – 2nd square (black) on 2nd row.

2nd – 2nd square (black) on 3rd row.

3rd – 3rd square (black) on 2nd row.

4th – 3rd square (black on 3rd row).

5th – 4th square (by now it’s white) on 2nd row.

6th – 4th square (by now it’s white too) on 3rd row.

14) Level 14 -

First, get the 1st and 2nd squares in the 3rd vertical column. These are both white at the start.

After that you just have to click each of the white squares enclosed by black ones once i.e.

a) Get the 4th and 5th squares in the 1st vertical column.

b) Get the 4th and 5th squares in the last (5th) vertical column.

15) Level 15 -

1st, get the square in the center.

2nd, get the square on the top-left.

3rd, get the square on the top-right.

16) Level 16 -

First, get the 1st square in the 2nd row.

Next, get the 2nd square in the 2nd row.

After this, get the square at the top right i.e. 4th square in the 1st row.

17) Level 17 -

First, get the 2nd and 4th squares in the top row.

Next, get the 3rd square in the 2nd row.

After that, get the 2nd and 4th squares in the 3rd row.

Next, get the 1st and last (i.e. 5th) squares in the bottom row.

Finally, press the 3rd square in the bottom row.

18) Level 18 -

First, please press the 2nd and 4th squares in the second row.

Next, the 3rd square in the 3rd row.

19) Level 19 -

First get the corners of the inner square. That would be the 2nd and 4th square of the 2nd row, and the 2nd and 4th squares of the 4th row.

Next, get the 4 black squares around the white square in the middle i.e. the 2nd and 4th squares in the 3rd row, and the 2nd and 4th squares in the 3rd column.

20) Level 20 -

First, the 4 corners.

Next, The 2nd and 4th squares in the 3rd row.

21) Level 21 -

1st – 4 corners.
2nd – 2nd square in the 3rd row.
3rd – 3rd square in 2nd row and 3rd square in 4th row.
4th – 3rd square in 3rd row.
5th – 4th squares in 2nd and 4th rows.
6th – 5th squares in 2nd and 5th rows.
7th – 1st through 5th squares in the last column

8th – 3rd square in 5th column.

22) Level 22 -

First, press the 2nd square in the 2nd row to make it all black.

Next, get two opposing corners (Example: 1st square in 1st row and last square in 2nd row).

23) Level 23 -

2nd square in 2nd row, Then 1st square in that row.

Then 3rd and 4th squares in 2nd row.

24) Level 24 -

2nd square in second row. Then 4th square in 2nd row.

After that the two corner squares on the right size.

25) Level 25 -

First, the first square in the 2nd row.

Then the 3rd squares in the first and third rows.

Then, the 4th square in the 2nd row.

Then, the 5th squares in the first and third rows.

26) Level 26 -

1st square in the 3rd row.

3rd squares in the 1st and 5th rows.

5th squares in the 2nd and 4th rows.

6th square in the 3rd row.

27) Level 27 -

2nd and 5th squares in the 5th row.

28) Level 28 -

2nd and 6th squares in the 2nd column.

4th square in the 1st column.

Then just go left to right with up and down each row.

Details:

Every square in the 4th column.

1st and last square in the 5th column.

1st, 2nd, and 3rd squares in the 6th column. 5th, 6th, and 7th squares in the 6th column.

29) Level 29 -

2nd and 4th squares in the 1st row.

3rd square in the second row.

30) Level 30 -

1st and 3rd squares in 2nd column.

3rd square in 2nd row.

The top corners on the left side.

31) Level 31 -

First get the 2nd and 5th squares of the top row.

Then get the 2nd and 5th square of the bottom row.

Next, get the 2nd and 3rd squares of the middle row.

After that, get the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd squares of the 4th column.

Next, get the 2nd square of the 5th column.

End by getting the 3rd, 2nd, and 1st squares in the last column.

34) Level 34 -

1st get the 4 corners.

2nd get the 4 corners of the inner square, i.e. the 2nd and 5th square on the 2nd row, and the 2nd and 5th squares on the 4th row.

Then get the 4 outermost corners again.

Then get the 2nd and 5th squares of the 3rd row.

Then get the 3rd and 4th squares of the 2nd row.

Finally, get the 3rd and 4th squares of the 4th row.

35) Level 35 -

First, get the 2nd and 5th squares in the 3rd row.

Next, get the 3rd and 4th squares in the 2nd row.

After this, get the 3rd and 4th squares in the 4th row.

Next, get the 3rd and 4th squares in the 1st row.

Finally, get the 3rd and 4th squares in the last row.

36) Level 36 – Trying to see if there’s a better solution.

Update: A rather shaky video walkthrough -

First get the first two columns by using 3 moves.

Then go down every column one by one until the 2nd last.

Then the 4 remaining white squares.

Details:

First, 2nd and 6th squares in the 2nd column.

Then, 4th square in the 1st row.

Then, make the 3rd, 4th, and 5th columns white by going along each of the 4th, 5th, and 6th columns and pressing every square you need to. You’ll almost have to get each square.

Then you’ll be left with 4 white squares in the right-side corners surrounded by black squares. Press each white square once.

37) Level 37 walkthrough -

Update: A video walkthrough for Level 37 -

First get the 4 corners.

Next, get the white squares that are 3rd and 5th in the 2nd row, and 3rd and 5th in the 7th row.

Now, you’ll have 4 black crosses left. Flip the centers of each of these.

Note: These are solutions found after a lot of effort

Please Note: We have spent a lot of time with the game. So some of these solutions might seem trivially easy – It’s only because of playing the game for countless hours. The one common hint is to look for patterns and to look for easy solutions.
